National Read a Book Day is celebrated on 6th September every year. This day is celebrated to create awareness among people about the importance of books.

It is said that National Book Reading Day originated in America. But there is still no clarity about this. But Americans love to read books. Books give us knowledge, through books we travel to a new world. Books are said to be our true friends.

It is believed that if there is a true friend in the world, it is a book!

The best selling book in the world is ‘Harry Potter series’.

Amazon started its company by selling books.
