What is TANCET?
TANCET stands for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test. It is conducted by Anna University on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu. TANCET is a state-level examination that is used to screen candidates for admission to various postgraduate courses such as MBA, MCA, M.E, M.Tech, M.Arch, and M.Plan in colleges and universities in Tamil Nadu.
TANCET Eligibility Criteria
To appear for TANCET, candidates need to fulfill certain eligibility criteria in terms of academic qualification and age limit.
Academic Qualification
For MBA and MCA courses, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree of a minimum of three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates).
For M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan courses, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field of study with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates).
Age Limit
There is no age limit for TANCET.
